On behalf of the men and women of the Oshkosh Police Department, welcome to the Department’s website. We continue to redesign and update our site in an effort to create value to our community stakeholders. Our website pages will share information about our organizational structure, programs and successes, as well as provide a means for our stakeholders to identify and contact the officers assigned to their team. Our website enables us to share and showcase our Annual Report and Strategic Plan to our partners.

The Oshkosh Police Department embraces the philosophy of community policing and we recently created our “Team Policing” method of operations. Team Policing assigns teams of officers to permanent geographical areas of the city with a priority towards building partnerships and engaging in proactive problem solving of quality of life problems. We believe that working together to take care of the “little things” will help to prevent the more serious crimes from occurring in our neighborhoods, schools, businesses and community. Our goal is to continue to keep Oshkosh one of the safest cities to live, work and visit on a daily basis.

We are constantly striving to achieve our mission….to promote public safety and to enhance the quality of life in our community through innovative policing and community partnerships. Our employees constantly demonstrate the values of pride, professionalism, integrity and teamwork in the performance of our service to the community.
