*Citizens are encouraged to contact the Oshkosh Police Department at (920) 236-5700 to report non-emergency situations and file police reports.
Team Policing and how to contact your officers:
As part of the Team Policing initiative, the Department developed an interactive map, which is broken down into the seven patrol areas of the city. The map was designed to provide citizens with a way to contact a specific team or officer in their area. Locate the team number assigned to your area on the city map, click on the area you are interested in, and a list of officers will appear. There are three main ways to contact a specific team:
- Each team has an assigned cell phone and a message can be left if one of the officers is not available to answer the call. One of the team officers should be able to return your call within a reasonably short time.
- You can also contact the teams or an individual officer by e-mail. You can either select a specific officer’s name or the team e-mail link to send an e-mail to one or all of the officers.
- Another option is to call the Police Department at (920) 236-5700 and ask to talk to a team officer in your area. After giving the receptionist your address, they will be able to give you more information on your team or can connect you with the team phone.
