Subject:      Human Trafficking Investigation Involving a Teenage Female

OSHKOSH, WI (April 09, 2025): As a result of an intensive investigation, the Oshkosh Police Department arrested a male for numerous Human Trafficking charges involving a teenage female.

On 04/08/2025 at approximately 11:26 PM, Detectives from the Oshkosh Police Department arrested a 26 year old male from Fond du Lac. He was located and taken into custody in the parking lot of a business located in the 200 Block of W 20th Avenue in the City of Oshkosh. An OPD detective was communicating with this male via the victim’s social media account (posing as the victim) and arranged to meet with him. The male wanted to meet with the victim for the purpose of sex acts. Detectives learned through the investigation that this male had met up with the victim on several different occasions in the past for the purpose of sex acts.

The male was arrested for three counts of Soliciting a Child for Prostitution and three counts of Human Trafficking of a Child. A search warrant was issued for the suspect’s residence located in Fond du Lac County. As a result of the search warrant, numerous electronic devices were seized. We want to thank the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this incident.
