OSHKOSH, WI (April 25, 2025): On 04/24/2025 the Oshkosh Police Department's Vice and Narcotics Unit along with Detectives and Patrol Officers, conducted an undercover human trafficking investigation in the City of Oshkosh.

During the course of the investigation officers arrested 8 adult males. These eight males ranged in age from 20-48 years old and were arrested for Pandering. These males were from: Oshkosh, Appleton, Clintonville, Wautoma, Oakfield, and Florida. The 41 year old male from Wautoma was also arrested for Felony Bail Jumping. During the arrest of one of the individuals, a loaded handgun was located concealed in his waistband.

This operation was conducted in our efforts to work closely with our community advocacy groups in bringing awareness to human trafficking, especially during large community events. The Damascus Road Project Blitz the Draft initiative reached out to motels, hotels, gas stations and convenience stores in Winnebago and Outagamie counties to hand out information about red flags to look for to identify human trafficking prior to the 2025 NFL draft.

The Oshkosh Police Department remains steadfast in our unwavering commitment in combatting human trafficking and we continue to work diligently to investigate crimes of this nature.

For a variety of reasons, it can be very hard for Human Trafficking victims to get out of these situations. We partner with local non-profit organizations so that resources can be quickly provided to victims.

The Oshkosh Police Department strives to reduce the number of victims by doing proactive investigations and being vigilant in our efforts to combat Human Trafficking. Our door is always open to those seeking help, and we encourage anyone with information or concerns about human trafficking to come forward. Together, we can create a safer community and enhance the quality of life for everyone.
