Subject:       Graffiti Incidents


(Oshkosh, WI) May 08, 2025: The Oshkosh Police Department is currently investigating several graffiti incidents that took place this week on the south side of Oshkosh.

Officers received information that there were numerous damage to property complaints in which graffiti was written on several dumpsters, backs of street signs, a light pole, a barrel, on a building wall and a window. These incidents took place in the 1000-1400 Blocks of Oregon Street and in the 100 Block of W 7th Avenue.

Video surveillance in the area recorded the suspect vandalizing property. Officers are currently working diligently on identifying the individual involved with these complaints. The impacts of graffiti on our community are multifaceted with broad implications including financial burdens related to cleanup efforts and undermining the aesthetic integrity of our neighborhoods.
