Subject: UPDATE: Disturbance with A Weapon in the 1000 Block of Wisconsin St
UPDATE: On 08/19/2025, at approximately 4:34 PM, a 20-year-old male from Menasha was taken into custody for First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Attempted First Degree Reckless Homicide.
Detectives from the Oshkosh Police Department identified the suspect responsible for the shooting of a 19-year-old male, following an in- depth investigation. On 08/19/2025, they initiated a surveillance operation on the suspect. Detectives observed him entering a business in the 100 Block of N Mall Drive in Grand Chute. He attempted to flee through the back door of an adjacent business, where he was apprehended. Subsequently, detectives executed a search warrant at the suspect's residence on the 1100 Block of Grove Street in the City of Menasha. During the search, they discovered two loaded firearms in the suspect’s bedroom: a Glock .45 caliber handgun with a laser attachment and a MAC-10 style 9 mm firearm. The collaboration and assistance from these agencies greatly helped this investigation.

OSHKOSH, WI (August 2, 2025): The Oshkosh Police Department investigated a disturbance with a weapon that occurred at a residence located in the 1000 Block of Wisconsin St in the City of Oshkosh.
On 08/02/2025 at approximately 2:53AM, Officers from the Oshkosh Police Department were dispatched to a weapons call in the 1000 Block of Wisconsin Street. They received information that a 19-year-old male had been shot in the shoulder. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated and has since been released.
Detectives from the Oshkosh Police Department are actively working the investigation. This appears to be an isolated incident between two individuals. The suspect remains at large at this time.
