Subject: UPDATE: Fatal Crash at High Ave and Wisconsin St
UPDATED: The intersection of High Ave and Wisconsin St has reopened.
The Oshkosh Police Department investigated a Motorcycle vs Light Truck accident at 6:39 pm that occurred in the intersection of High Ave and Wisconsin St. The motorcycle was eastbound on High Ave, and the Light Truck was southbound on Wisconsin St when they collided. As a result of the accident, the motorcycle operator, a 27-year-old Appleton man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two others were transported to a local hospital for treatment due to injuries sustained from the accident. The intersection was closed for approximately four hours. Members of the Oshkosh Police Department’s Crash Investigation Team, Criminal Investigation Division, and Auxiliary Police responded to the scene of the accident. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
