Subject: VNU Drug Investigation – Arrest of wanted subject
OSHKOSH, WI (September 23, 2025): On September 23rd, 2025 the Oshkosh Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit completed a drug investigation that resulted in the search of a residence in the 1500 block of Doemel Street and also a search of the neighborhood for a wanted fugitive who fled on foot from the residence. This residence was in the neighborhood that includes Emmeline Cook Elementary School in Oshkosh.
For the safety of all school students and staff, the Oshkosh Police Department notified Emmeline Cook Elementary School of the search of this residence prior to it being served, and continued to update the school on the ongoing search of the wanted subject who fled from the residence. Numerous citizens reported seeing the suspect in the area which ultimately led officers locating and arresting him. Officers and investigators located the male coming out of a backyard on Murdock Ave around Hazel Street. We wish to thank the community for assisting the Oshkosh Police Department.
The 36-year-old male was wanted for a felony apprehension warrant through Probation and Parole.
During a search of the residence approximately 43 grams of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located. The male was taken to the Winnebago County Jail, and arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Maintain a Drug Trafficking Dwelling and other drug offenses.
The Oshkosh Police Department continues to work diligently to investigate crimes of this nature. The presence of illegal drugs and drug dealers poses a threat to the health, safety, and well-being of our residents, drug overdoses are a threat to all of us. We will not tolerate the distribution, sale, or possession of illegal narcotics within our city. We will continue to work tirelessly, utilizing all available resources to identify and apprehend those individuals who engage in these destructive behaviors. We stand united with our community in the fight against drugs, ensuring Oshkosh remains a safe place for all.
