OSHKOSH, WI (February 12, 2026):

ATF's Special Response Team, in partnership with the Oshkosh Police Department and the Lake Winnebago Metropolitan Enforcement Group (LWAM), executed a federal warrant at an address in Oshkosh, Wis., the morning of Feb. 12, 2026, in relation to federal narcotics and firearms violations. A federal warrant is a court order issued by a judge after reviewing sworn evidence that establishes probable cause. This was NOT a federal immigration operation. Due to the federal court records being sealed, we are unable to provide further information related to this operation at this time.

The Oshkosh Police Department and Federal law enforcement agencies continue to work diligently to investigate crimes of this nature. Our shared commitment and collaborative efforts provide a unified approach to help to keep our community safe through vigilance, prompt action and transparent communication.

The presence of illegal drugs and drug dealers poses a threat to the health, safety, and well- being of our residents, drug overdoses are a threat to all of us. We will not tolerate the distribution, sale, or possession of illegal narcotics within our city. We will continue to work tirelessly, utilizing all available resources to identify and apprehend those individuals who engage in these destructive behaviors. We stand united with our community in the fight against drugs, ensuring Oshkosh remains a safe place for all.
