Subject:      VNU Special Detail

On 05/20/2026, the Oshkosh Police Department's Vice and Narcotics Unit along with Detectives and Patrol Officers, conducted an undercover human trafficking investigation in the City of Oshkosh.

During the course of the investigation, Officers arrested 9 adult males. These nine males ranged in age from 20-55 years old and were arrested for Pandering. These males were from Oshkosh, Kimberly, Weyauwega, Sturgeon Bay, Sheboygan, Neenah, Fond du Lac, and Texas.

Pandering/ Solicitation sits at a nexus of other crimes. It may be accompanied by, or related to, robberies, thefts, assaults, drug dealing/possession, and sexual assault.  The Oshkosh Police Department remains steadfast in our unwavering commitment to combating human trafficking and related crimes, and we continue to work diligently to investigate crimes of this nature.

For a variety of reasons, it can be very hard for Human Trafficking victims to get out of these situations. We partner with local non-profit organizations so that resources can be quickly provided to victims.

The Oshkosh Police Department strives to reduce the number of victims by doing proactive investigations and being vigilant in our efforts to combat Human Trafficking. Our door is always open to those seeking help, and we encourage anyone with information or concerns about human trafficking to come forward. Together, we can create a safer community and enhance the quality of life for everyone.
