Subject:      Shooting in the 1100 Blk of Cherry St

 

 

OSHKOSH, WI (June 13, 2026): The Oshkosh Police Department responded to a weapons incident that occurred in the area of the 1100 block of Cherry St. in the City of Oshkosh.

 

On 6/13/2026 at approximately 4:22 PM, Officers from the Oshkosh Police Department were dispatched to a weapon call in the 1100 block of Cherry St. Officers were advised that a subject had fired a gun at a residence in the area. Officers responded and secured the scene. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

 

A suspect vehicle was identified and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted. The Oshkosh Police Department was assisted by deputies from the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office. Officers have a suspect in custody at this time and this investigation remains active.

 

This is believed to be an isolated incident and we are not looking for any other suspects.
