Subject:      UPDATE 2 : Burglary at Players Pizza & Pub

 

 

UPDATE 2: Darius Shields, a Georgia resident, was located and taken into custody by the Thomas County Sheriff's Office in Georgia. He was taken into custody for several outstanding warrants and for Burglary to a Dwelling. Thank you to the Thomas County Sheriff’s Deputies for assisting in locating and apprehending him.

 

UPDATE: The Oshkosh Police Department has developed a suspect related to the burglary at Player’s Pizza & Pub. This person has been identified as Darius Shields, age 35, who is from the state of Georgia. There is a possibility that Darius is trying to leave Wisconsin and return to Georgia. His current whereabouts are unknown. Please use caution if you encounter him and contact law enforcement if you have any information regarding his location.

 

 

On 08/14/2026, Officers were dispatched to investigate a burglary that occurred at Players Pizza & Pub, in the City of Oshkosh. The burglary occurred between approximately 4:00 AM – 5:30 AM.

 

We are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the accompanying photos. The Oshkosh Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is continuing to investigate this incident.

 

Business burglaries affect not only the individual business owner- they can disrupt employees, customers, and the community as a whole.
